Nicholas Brown has enjoyed a career spanning over 24 years in the SE QLD commercial property market specialising in tenant and landlord representation with his main focus being in the leasing of retail and commercial properties.
His success has grown through his understanding of the needs of his clients which has led to continued support and commitment resulting in low vacancy rates and the right property decisions being made at the best possible rates.
As a result of working on numerous projects in the Gold Coast area with recognised developers and owners, Nicholas has always obtained a high level of success for his clients through targeting of prospective tenants, negotiating terms and inter-facing with colleagues and property management to assist in implementing delivery of the job at hand.
Nicholas’s hands on experience encompasses, site evaluation and acquisition, market assessment, tenant mix/retailer profiling, advice on design and layout, rental income scheduling, development and redevelopment consultancy, brokerage leasing and sales.
Nicholas’s focus on the Gold Coast area, consulting to developers and tenants coupled with a long term interest in commercial real estate has led to his current specialty in retail services.
In recent times Nicholas has had the opportunity to work in the development field gaining an understanding of town planning, design and the construction for two commercial buildings for the Commonwealth of Australia from the initial lease enquiry stage right through to final delivery of the properties to a very satisfied client.
With many years spent in the commercial property market a long list of relationships have been formed primarily with tenants however many sale appointments have also been concluded from small commercial buildings, shopping centres, mixed use commercial/retail buildings through to large scale development sites worth many millions of dollars.

Steven Black is now approaching his 20th year in the property industry, predominantly specialising in the retail sector throughout the Gold Coast and SE QLD.
Commencing with Knight Frank, Steven’s role of “office manager” outperformed the job description. From performing the day to day duties of the property managers (in both commercial and residential)to marketing campaigns through to supporting the Sales and Leasing executives in generating enquiry through direct canvassing and marketing techniques. Within the first 3 years, Steven had developed the skills and knowledge resulting in multiple transactions with major National Companies (both Tenants and Landlord).
Working with Nicholas Brown (Co-Director of Knight Frank Gold Coast at the time), Steven embarked in project leasing services in a support role for major projects such as The Phoenician Retail and Dining Precinct, Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre and Bel Air Retail.
Today, Steven’s enjoys, well-seasoned skills, experience and a wealth of market knowledge, positioning himself as a leading Retail Agent on the Gold Coast and subsequently awarded Steven several substantial sales transactions, through to appointments of leasing consultancy of major retail assets with some of Australia’s largest companies.
